The role will suit a sales-minded entrepreneur looking for a long term and highly rewarding though very challenging project

Profile
1 Experience of Business Development or Sales of Enterprise Software Consulting to blue chip or public sector
2 Experience of (or enthusiasm to take on) using MVP practices to introduce new products and services to early adopters
3 Full Time Commitment


Responsibilities
1 Responsible for signing up new customers, at least initially personally perform all business development and all sales tasks, including seeking out leads, nurturing them, and ultimately closing deals.
2 With a strategic approach, develop the business for enterprise software consulting by finding relevant opportunities in my/our areas of technical expertise and experience: Java-centric open source solutions for massively scalable computing environments.
3 In parallel, starting with the iOS as well as browser versions of my Business Stack series, propose and implement customer acquisition tasks with emphasis on lean and MVP practices.

Negotiable Package:

Year 1 OTE : 70K + Equity
Year 2 OTE : 150K + Equity

About Me

I have an academic background in Computer Science, starting with an Honours Bachelors at Royal Holloway, and then a research Masters at Queen Mary, in ?Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Architectures?. In industry I?ve helped to code, build and maintain transactional very high volume business oriented server applications at several large corporations in industries including engineering, transport, telecoms and financial services. I've done this at companies inluding Reuters, Nomura, UBS, Goldman Sachs, NatWest Markets, Kvaerner/Oracle, One2One.
