Executive Summary

BALCONDRY LIMITED is registered in the UK. It has for the last 5 years been designing multi-functional laundry care systems for the Home, Travel & Leisure markets. 1. BALCONDRY is ideal for use in the Home, while Travelling, on Holiday etc. etc.

2. TRAVELDRY is much smaller, fits neatly into a carry on bag, holdall, and helps reduce aircraft luggage fees.

They are fully protected with all IP in place. After research with several prototypes at exhibitions, trade shows, and the ergonomics tested by large retailers the final products are ready for manufacture.

The Market
Noticing several years ago while managing hotels and various accommodation outlets that laundry drying facilities are just not given much thought. There may be a small drying rack, a single pull out line over the bath or tripod dryer. Have found in hotels that most families arriving back from the pool/beach with swimwear & towels frequently use the chairs and table on the balcony or the shower screen in the washroom as a drying aid. There are Travel accessories but they have not evolved in decades. Most require permanent fixtures which are hard to find with today's modern architecture and they hold minimal amounts. Both Balcondry products can be attached in seconds almost anywhere. They both have Powerful Patented Suction Cups and fit on glass, tiles, plastic, metal (including vehicle bodywork). Balcondry holds 12kg. and Traveldry 6kg.

Sales areas for both products could be huge with good marketing and branding. Both are light & compact. Ideal for online sales. Amazon, Ebay, Website, Catalogues. Also Supermarkets, Homeware Retailers, Travel Accessory Outlets, Caravan & Motorhome Accessory Shops, Airport Shops, Cruise Shops, Hotel Groups, Luxury Lodge and Holiday Sites etc. etc. A projected target of 10,000 sales of each product in the UK is reasonable in the first year.

Intellectual Property
Originally from rough drawings back in 2014 my idea was submitted to a UK Patent Attorney, to assess the feasibility of the proposed idea with a Worldwide Patent Search. Nothing was found to compare, so the intended product was sent for Concept Visualisation and Design commenced. After several design additions a Patent was applied for in 2016. The UK Patent was finally granted on 6th February 2019. Balcondry & Traveldry are both Registered Designs and Registered Trademarks. All relevant Domain Names have been secured for both products.

The Management
Former Head Chef Royal Marines (Officers Mess Galley) & Licensee/Manager of 14 Hotels/Inns throughout the UK. Have acquired a number of skills. These include dealing with pressurized environments, and being adaptable to all parts of a business.
Have managed and overseen all IP, Design, Research and progression of the products since 2014. Full biography available on request.

Financial
Both products ready for manufacture. Quotes for all parts have been obtained. Everything has been fully funded. There are NO outstanding debts or loans. NO Premises to start sales are needed. NO Equipment is required. Funds are required for initial tooling, parts, branding & marketing, working capital and cash flow. NO Company Salaries until producing profits would be expected.
What is required is a loan of £35,000 to achieve the above objectives either as a loan to be paid back with agreed interest from the cash flow of the business within 5 years, or raised by equity sale. Combination of this is possible subject to negotiation.
