the term 'Business Angel' is a total misnomer. Their correct description would be Thieves, con-men liars and.tax avoidance sharks dressed in suits. They have only one aim, and that is to steal inventors brilliant ideas, people who have worked tirelessly for years to perfect and move them out of the business as quickly as possible and then retain the patents and know-how to sell on as quickly as possible for the maximum profit. There are many such fabulous products which have gone to the wall because of the inability of the inventors to fund through banks or government schemes, usually run by bureaucrats who have no concept of 'start-up' situations. They have no alternative other than to try and go through the maze of '.angel agents whose immediate and sole task is to 're-write the business plan to suit investors ' (money up front please!) and then submit it through the well trodden path to the so called 'angels'. it is such a pity that the |U|K with its fund of brilliant ideas has to go outside the country to find funding in the USA / China and so on.
